Hi, my name is Lawrence (Larry) Castanon. I have been training for over 40 years, as well as teaching and training folks for 30+ years.
I have a degree in Biology from the State University of New York. and a diploma as a Physical Therapy Technician. Additionally, I hold certifications as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, Personal Fitness Trainer, and Group Exercise instructor. I have over 30 years of experience training folks, and am currently certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the leading fitness organization in the country.
Beyond fitness, my experiences include martial arts and sports where I hold a
5th degree Black Belt in Karate, a 2nd degree Black Belt in Close Combat martial arts, and serve as an instructor of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu self-defense, and Krav Maga self-defense.
Additionally, as a USA Wrestling coach, Strength and Conditioning coach, and a SafeSport certified coach, I am dedicated to enhancing athletes performance, and safety.
With over 30 years in fitness, I've successfully trained people of all ages and backgrounds including: Athletes, martial arts practitioners, regular folks--moms, dads, kids, seniors, and post-rehab patients.
